Tenaciously tackling tongue twisters!

My first job on Monday morning this week was to record a Corporate Video Voiceover about Drone Traffic Safety, it appears that "4D swarm drone trajectory planning algorithms" isn't the easiest of phrases to get through first time!
 
It can be tricky when writing technical scripts to avoid using long-winded, lengthy sentences but there are ways to make the script flow a little easier.
 
🗣️Write as if speaking to your audience in person
🗣️Keep the script natural and conversational
🗣️Use simple language to balance the technical prose
 
As well as having the audience in mind when writing a script, it makes such a difference to keep the voiceover in mind too, after all it is they who work their magic to deliver the message while tenaciously tackling those tongue twisters!
 
Today, I’m voicing in my natural Lancashire voice. A very different kettle of fish, but still all about the natural, conversational delivery.
