All the time in the world…

One of the things I love most about being a Voiceover is that I get to work with clients all over the world and that means working in different time zones 🕜

Most of my clients are based in the UK, Europe, Australia, USA and India, but my next job could come from anywhere in the world, that’s pretty amazing!

Did you know that there are 24 main time zones in the world, one for each hour of the day?

A couple of weeks ago, time zones had me not knowing what time (or even day) it was...

A mixture of business and pleasure saw me travelling in the Campervan across 2 countries and visiting 13 destinations across 11 days, a whistlestop tour indeed!

In France we visited Nantes, Pont Aven, Bénodet, Roscoff, Dieppe, Caugé, Vouvray and Châtillon-sur-Indre.

While in England we visited Plymouth, Teignmouth, Birmingham, Southport and Newhaven.

The UK / France slightly differing time zones wouldn’t have usually caught me out, but during my travels the clocks went forward so after going back one hour in the UK, time then went forward again!

To top that off, my smart (or not so smart watch) decided to unpair to my phone, so my phone had the correct time but my watch was still an hour behind, helpful!

I’m pleased to say that I’m back in the studio, my smart watch is once again functioning and normal service has resumed.

Whatever time zone you’re in, I’ll always be happy to hear from you and to put my vocal-chords to good use on your next project 🎙

Has anything caught you out recently? What’s knocked you off your stride? I’d love to know?

And hey, do you know what time it is?  😉
